The film begins with a closeup of a closed eye. Each blink gives birth to episodes involving life and love. There are humorous intensifications and condensations in which sprightly sperm cells are eaten by a pair of birds in passing, and two beetles, weary after copulation, pounce upon each other. A smiling, pot-bellied Buddha tumbles from the eye and into the lotus position while a couple making passionate love gets entangled in acrobatic dance formations. The search in “sensuous survival” comes to an end when a galloping udder equipped with a drag parachute vanishes into nothingness.
