Instax
Instax is based on Camera Girls (2002), a metrically chopped-up altered version of an black-and-white, Super-8 Castle from 1966. For the video version, Instax, I drew out the picture in emphatic slow motion, tinted it red and made very, very slow cross-fades from one scene to the next. Bertram Hellermann manipulated the cross-fade extensions even more in a way that I still do not understand. As a result, Instax turned out even better than I had imagined.
