Christina Stuhlberger
Christina Stuhlberger (* Passau, Germany) is an artist filmmaker living in Brussels and Vienna. Her films approach documentary as exchange process, to create an open-ended dialogue and encounters at eye-level. Born into a German-Filipino family and growing up in the Bavarian countryside, Christina enjoys making films that incorporate multiple perspectives and blurred lines of conflict. Her work cherishes the lived experience of her female role models that often include her friends and family.
Christina studied Audiovisual Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium. She is a co-founder of elephy, an artist-run film production collective. Since 2020, Christina is a doctoral researcher at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels where she also lectures in the international master’s programme DocNomads.
