Stephanie Bergwinkl

Stephanie Bergwinkl, who grew up in a small town in Lower Bavaria, now lives as an artist and filmmaker - always in search of the interface between the documentary and the imaginary. Bachelor's degree in Communication and Economics in Munich and Singapore. Master's degree in time-based media at the University of Art and Design Linz with a stopover at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon, France. In 2020, her first documentary film was nominated for the German Human Rights Film Award. Since then, her short films have been screened at festivals and exhibitions in Austria and abroad.
