Flurina Schneider

Flurina Schneider (she/her) born 2000 in Vienna is a filmmaker and video artist. She has been studying in the TransArts class at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since 2021. Since 2022 she has been in the film class of Emily Wardill, formerly with Tizza Covi, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Her work deals with the psychology of interpersonal actions, body politics and, in the course of this, clashes with society and its norms. Her artistic practice consists of integrating fictional narratives into the immediate reality and documenting them with the camera. The filmic means always relate to the context of the work and support the requirements of the events through their form.
