born in Wels. Studied directing at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien, Abteilung Film und Fernsehen with Axel Corti and Peter Patzak.
Filmmaker and screenwriter. Lives and works in Vienna.

2013 "outstanding artists award" for experimental film (donated by the Office of the Federal Chancellor), 2012 "Austrian short film award" (VIS Vienna Independent Shorts for "message in the bottle"), 2006 "Grand Diagonale Price for innovative cinema" for "a million in debt is normal says my grandfather" (ex aequo), New Vision Award for short film CPH:DOX (Kopenhagen). 1988 Students-filmfestival Vienna "directing and screenwriting award" for the short film "bist du gelähmt!".
