Viennese weekly magazine FALTER on the occasion of Viennale 15 recommends the program of the Austrian Short Films: As always a highlight of the entire Viennale, the local Avant-Garde program.
Sunday, 25. 10. – 15.30 at Gartenbaukino and Wednesday, 4.11. – 18.30 at Metrokino: Brandnew works by Siegfried Fruhauf, Claudia Larcher, Johann Lurf, Sasha Pirker, Christian Ruschitzka and Peter Tscherkassky – additionally two films by Friedl vom Gröller with the second screening.

Tetescha Us – She is crossing borders , ein kurzer eindrücklicher Animationsfilm von Stefanie Wuschitz bildet aus aktuellem Anlass unseren Film des Monats Oktober als gratis-stream auf der VoD-Plattform flimmit.com.
Der Trickfilm geht von einer zweifachen Aporie aus: von der Uneinlösbarkeit neutraler Bilder des Nahostkonflikts und der Unmöglichkeit, diesen als intakte inhaltliche Erzählung zu repräsentieren. Ausgangspunkt ist ein Comic-Workshop, den Filmemacherin Stefanie Wuschitz im palästinensischen Flüchtlingslager Beddawi im Nordlibanon organisiert. 11- bis 13jährige palästinensische Mädchen zeichnen hier Wunschbilder einer anderen Realität. Outstanding Artists Awards 2015
Ascan Breuer und Johann Lurf have been honoured with the Outstanding Artist Award 2015 for Film, given by the Austrian Federal Chancellery/Department for Arts in the categories documentary film and experimental film. Congratulations !
Eden's Edge wins in Zagreb at 25fps
Eden’s Edge wins again ! At this year´s Zagreb´s 25FPS-Festival the extraordinary film by the artist collective O.N.L.S.D. received both the film critic´s award as well as the audience award. A rare conformity of choice ! Congratulations to Gerhard Treml and Leo Calice for the ongoing success.
