The fairy tale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm forms the starting point for Allerleirauh, which attempts to find an image for the causes of an injury. Also in the tradition of feminist performance art is KIP MASKER, in which Petschnig subverts standardized body representations as both performer and camerawoman. Along three settings, Helen A/B + das Meer examines interpersonal forms of communication, whose gestures as well as abysses are brought directly into focus via mangy, quite witty image and sound editing. erase remake (winner of the Innovative Film Award at Diagonale 07) and Part Time Heroes are sophisticated cinematic reinterpretations or over-settings of live performances that skillfully explore the relationship between performer, camera eye and audience.
